Get ready for an unforgettable Summer University with AEGEE-Brescia! Hike through the mountains, swim in crystal-clear lakes, discover Roman history, and party under the stars. The event “Brixtreme: Spirit of Adventure” takes place from 24 July to 3 August 2025. There are 20 spots.

GT: What is the title and what is the main topic of your SU this year?
AEGEE-Brescia: The title of our SU is “Brixtreme: Spirit of Adventure”, and the main topic is outdoor activities, exploring the beauty of Brescia and its surroundings.

GT: Why did you choose the topic?
AEGEE-Brescia: We chose this topic because we want our participants to experience our region from all angles and discover everything it has to offer. We’ll guide them on an immersive journey through Brescia, exploring the city’s history that dates back to the Roman Empire, tasting Pirlo and local food. Then we’ll head into the surrounding region, from lakes to mountains, where we’ll spend lots of time immersed in nature.

GT: What will be the greatest thematic programme highlights?
AEGEE-Brescia: Nature and outdoor activities. We will guide our participants on many hikes and organize activities focused on learning how to respect and care for the environment.

GT: Which cities and landmarks will you visit?
AEGEE-Brescia: We’ll visit Brescia, go hiking around Lake Iseo and Lake Garda, and spend the final days in a mountain cottage.

GT: What else will you do for fun?
AEGEE-Brescia: We will take our participant to the biggest water park in Northern Italy and organize many unforgettable parties—both in the city and up in the mountains.

GT: How much is the fee and what is included in it?
AEGEE-Brescia: The fee is 190 euros and includes all activities, except those covered by the optional fee.

GT: How much is the optional fee and what is included in it?
AEGEE-Brescia: The optional fee is 50 euros and includes one night at a club and a ticket to the rope park.

GT: Who is the ideal participant?
AEGEE-Brescia: The ideal participant loves spending time outdoors, taking long walks through breathtaking landscapes—and still has the energy to party all night after a full day of hiking!

GT: What can you tell us about your AEGEE local, what makes it special or famous?
AEGEE-Brescia: What truly makes our local special is our people. We have a dedicated team that works hard every year to organize unforgettable events—from our Summer University to our famous Christmas dinner, which is especially well-known in Italy. We’re proud of our international events, including SUs and other activities throughout the year, making AEGEE-Brescia a vibrant and welcoming community.
