AEGEE-Istanbul: We completed the event with 5 organizers, 22 participants, and 15 helpers.
GT: What were the greatest thematic programme highlights of the SU?
AEGEE-Istanbul: The workshops “What is AEGEE” and “Turkish Language” were among our most important training sessions. In addition to these, we also offered workshops on traditional activities related to Turkish culture, such as the art of Turkish coffee and the Turkish bath.
GT: What were the funniest or most exciting moments?
AEGEE-Istanbul: The pub crawl was one of the most fun activities. Among the evening themes, “Space Breeze” was one of the most exciting nights. It provided participants with unique experiences and moments that were quite different from the other days.
GT: How was the group of participants?
AEGEE-Istanbul: The participants were generally a calm group, but they also loved to have fun. There was always an active group enjoying themselves in the evenings.
GT: How successful was the SU overall?
AEGEE-Istanbul: Actually, it was a demanding event since we had no sponsors and had to handle everything ourselves. However, the organizers and helpers worked together as a team and succeeded brilliantly. Everything went smoothly, and the participants left satisfied.
GT: Are you still in contact with your participants?
AEGEE-Istanbul: Everyone became very close friends, and we’re still in touch through groups and individually. Besides that, we’re making an effort to come together at common AEGEE events.
